Pulse Events ushers in a new era in the LGBTQ community on Saturday, May 12th. Producers Ashley Gagnon and Karina McIntyre have been hard at work creating a new monthly nightlife event that will take the city by storm. Pulse promises to create a dance party for the masses while providing sexy lounge space for those just looking for good conversation.

With the ending of Tracy Buchholz�s LGBTQ dance party, Scene � the girls knew it was time to launch their own events company. Founded on the premise that the LGBTQ community can party together, Gagnon and McIntyre set out on a quest to find the perfect Gayborhood hot-spot. Smokin� Betty�s (www.smokinbettys.com) quickly topped their list. With two floors of gorgeous bar and lounge space, a second floor of retractable windows with an amazing dance floor, beautiful hardwood floors, and a great sound system � the vibe for Pulse was set. Sexy and fun with something for everyone.

Pulse has hired DJ Kash (Scene and Stimulus resident DJ) to spin all your favorite hits at Smokin� Betty�s, located at 11th and Sansom. The party kicks off May 12th at 10pm, and $5 gets you in all night. Drink specials include $3 Miller Lite and Coors Light bottles and $5 well drinks. Yes folks, Pulse is a 21+ event.
