Bayard Rustin was one of the most important figures in the history of the civil rights movement.  But largely because of his homosexuality, he has been more or less erased from history.  The West Chester Historical Society is also sponsoring a walk led by a prominent local author of West Chester sites associated with Rustin.  We will view the exhibit and go along on the 1 PM walking tour.  SPACES ARE LIMITED FOR THE 1 PM WALKING TOUR.  REGISTER ASAP WITH MEG KELLY OF THE HISTORICAL SOCIETY BY CALLING HER AT 610-692-4800 OR E-MAILING HER AT mkelly@chestercohistorical.org  Go to www.philaventures.org for updates on meeting location and cost.
