Fringe Arts: Andean Mountains (Montanas Andinas)
Andean Mountains is a digital journey through the mountains. Above all, it is a piece about personal geography: the way we relate to our place of origin versus where we've relocated. Living in the realm of not-quite-theatre, the piece is both a Google Street View tour as well as an exploration of culture loss. Featuring a performance by a juicy Colombian bear, audiences will digitally globe-trot to various locations from sunny Miami to rugged Bogot to urban Philadelphia.

This performance is the recipient of Fringearts' brand new Camp Fringe residency, and is a part of the 2017 Neighborhood Fringe Festival.

This performance is *NOT*:
-A Myers-Briggs test disguised as a play
-Secretly a Powerpoint Presentation
-A white-corn arepa with egg and ham
-Someone standing in front of a podium for an hour
-A podium-based movement piece
-A movement-based podium piece
-A piece-based movement podium
-Eligible for a Barrymore or Carbonell nomination
-A pile of crappy jokes about the Colombian drug trade
