Boys of Summer Giving Back to the Community

This week Boys of Summer, a PhillyGayCalendar event, presented a check to the Morris Home, for the amount of $788.63 - proceeds from the Boys of Hallow 's Eve event. This is on the tail of their recent donation of $1,021.73 to Home for Hope.

Come out to see this year’s Fringe Festival of theater and performance art; there are hundreds to choose from. Below are 19 shows with gay characters or content, or just of potential interest to the LGBT community, sorted by genre.  It’s Fringe, so some shows are in smaller venues outside of Center City; put on your adventure hat and go explore!  Plus, check out the main site for other shows too.  In the lefthand column, you can filter by genre, date, neighborhood, or “features” like free, dark, outdoors, live music, and yes, LGBT.  There’s something for everyone.

Theater – Gay characters
