I'd like to introduce you to a new organization called the "Philadelphia Rainbow Awards". We are a volunteer organization. This is our mission statement: Our goal is to help strengthen the Gayborhood by showing recognition and support to our community, the people and the services they provide.

Our first awards ceremony will be Friday, June 1, 2007. We plan to hold balloting events in the gayborhood during the first part of May. This will start the process for gathering nominations and choose the winners through various award categories. You may also nominate and cast your vote over the internet and US mail services. Someone from our organization will be by soon to drop off more detailed information in regards to what the nominating categories are and how votes are cast and counted.

Any business, group or individual that would like to participate in supporting the "Philadelphia Rainbow Awards", are welcome. We do have a sponsorship program available and of course volunteers are always welcome. Any help would be greatly appreciated.

This is a not-for-profit organization with the mission of giving something back to the community that has given to us. With future projects we plan to build a fund to help facilitate the continued growth of our community. Watch for a listing of various events throughout the year. All comments or suggestions would be greatly appreciated, so don't hesitate to contact us. For more information contact us at: . May everyday be filled with Rainbows...
