Women In Transition

Women In Transition (WIT) provides empowerment counseling, referrals and advocacy to women in Philadelphia who are endangered by domestic violence and/or substance abuse. Women In Transition offers free and confidential support groups, referrals, and individual counseling for women in same-sex abusive relationships in the Philadelphia region.
Women Organized Against Rape (WOAR)

Provides training and education programs, Latino and Asian outreach, individual and group support services, court accompaniment, and emergency room support at Thomas Jefferson and Episcopal hospitals. Services available for women, men, and children.
Women Runner's Meet-up Group

Women who love to run or trail run weekly meet-up at the Wissahickon park located on Bells Mill rd in beautiful Chestnut Hill. Everyone is welcome but should have a love of running and the ability to run 3 to 5 miles. Runs will be followed by coffee or brunch by those that want to join. Women's Writing & Spoken Word Series

A nurturing environment that celebrates women in the craft of multi-genre writing! Founded in November 2002, the Series is hosted and curated by writer Louise Bierig on 1st & 3rd Mondays 7pm-8:30pm at Robin's Bookstore 108 S. 13th Street in center city, Philadelphia. Free & open to all. Two featured female readers are followed by a mixed-gender open mic.
