Valanni [Mediterranean Cuisines] 1229 Spruce Philadelphia	Valanni introduces "Medi-Latin Cuisine" through a simple yet sophisticated menu. Latin flavors like chilies, coconut, and cilantro are masterfully fused with classic Mediterranean ingredients such as garlic, olives, and basil. Guests enjoy classics like paella, as well as signature dishes such a walnut crusted duck breast with coffee cocoa spiced glaze and mussels with chipotle chile, basil, and charred tomato broth. Walt Whitman House [Historical Home] 328 Mickle Boulevard Camden	Located two blocks east of the Camden waterfront, this National Historic Landmark provides an intimate glimpse into the life of the poet, attracting visitors from around the world. Whitman’s original letters, personal belongings, the bed in which he died, and the death notice that was nailed to the front door have all been preserved, as well as a collection of rare nineteenth-century photographs, including the earliest known image of Whitman. Also, one of the bridges spanning the Delaware River is named in his honor.

White Dog Cafe [American Cuisines ] 3420 Sansom St Philadelphia	Owner Judy Wicks is Philly's own Alice Waters. At her Victorian brownstone, the intrepid businesswoman hosts events year-round that pair community activism with fine dining. Whatever the night (or occasion), Chef von Klause transforms seasonal, pesticide-free produce and humanely raised fish and fowl into internationally inspired cuisine. Rainbow trout from the Poconos may be topped with Brazilian nuts and rum sauce; locally raised chicken may come roasted, served with Asian cabbage and cashew-fried jasmine rice.
William Way Community Center [LGBT Center] 1315 Spruce St. Philadelphia	The William Way Lesbian, Gay, Bisexual and Transgender Community Center was formed in 1996, when a group of community leaders came together with the goal of creating a stronger, more stable community center out of Penguin Place, the community center at the time.

Woody's Bar [Bar/Club] 202 S 13th St Philadelphia	Woody's first floor consists of three rooms today. The main bar is where people gather to chat, cocktail, have lunch (or brunch), and check out all the people entering. Next to the main bar is Woody's Coffee Bar, a cozy room to escape all the madness and Cafe for a quick snack. Upstairs is another bar, and next to it is the main dance floor. Woody's tend to be busy every night of the week, but Wednesday, their 18+ night, tends to be the busiest!
