Erv Hain from NE Philadelphia, PA: I weathered the heat and high humidity to attend Philly Gay Pride only to be disappointed after 2/3 of the parade when we experienced a downpour which I am guessing stopped the parade. Since I did not have an umbrella, I decided to return home even though I purchased my admission ticket at the parade. Let's hope Mother Nature does not exhibit her lack of support to Philly's Gay Pride next year so all may have a wonderful time showing their pride at a "sunny" festival that keeps us from being closeted.
