Voyeur Found in the Gayborhood

The word voyeur can mean a few things: a peeping Tom, an observer of sensational or sexual subjects, and now Voyeur means Philly's hottest Gayborhood destination! It will replace Pure as our favorite dance-the-night-away-spot. This is keeping with the many changes and additions going on in the Gayborhood!

Bumped up a Notch

If you are like me and adore summer you might need things to look forward to after Labor Day comes to pass. John Caputo, Mr. Gay Philadelphia 2008 and two business partners are already promising us something that will "bump up" the fun this fall. They have taken over Bump at 13th & Locust and plan to revitalize it for all of Philly's cocktail sippers.

Matthew Izzo: Life is Art

I went to Matthew Izzo's official opening party, two weeks ago for March First Friday. I normally would apologize for the delay but Matthew seems to constantly evolve; thus everyday is an opening. The new space is bigger, warmer. It boasts a wide, wooden, retail floor on the ground level, with a seemingly vintage wood and glass display case, while the stairway boasts an inviting, colorful assembly of vintage art.
