If it’s one thing Miss Information knows how to do (besides be a bitch) it’s how to eat! Philly is known as one of the best foodie cities in the country! And to TOP it all off, every year most of our amazing restaurants donate 1/3 of their profits to ActionAids through a little benefit event called Dining Out for Life. Which just so happens to be this Thursday (4/30)! I’m sure you’re all thinking that this just some one off event across the city’s greasy spoon restaurants, but you’d be just as wrong as a drag queen’s bubble gum. Dining Out for Life has been going on longer than some of the shot boys have been alive – and… uh… me! ;-)
The directions to participate are simple: you go to any of the restaurants listed on the site and eat your fucking dinner. And when you leave, you get to call yourself a philanthropist for helping out ActionAids. You don’t pay extra, or have to do anything special. So no excuses. I know I’ll be filling my pie hole at a few restaurants – just look for the queen in sweats with twink on a leash.
Need some help picking a place to stuff your hole? Check out our list of local LGBT owned and operated restaurants we’d love you to support.
