Join us for this month’s Afternoon Tea Discussion on Discrimination in AAPI Communities. During this conversation, we will discuss the different ways anti-Asian racism (and discrimination more broadly) occurs and manifests within the LGBTQ+ communities, such as fetishization, submissive role expectations, and desexualization.

This is a closed event for folx within the LGBTQIA community who self-identify as Asian/Pacific Islanders.

*API: We use this term to include many ethnic identities, including East Asian, Middle-Eastern, South Asian, Southeast Asian, Pacific Islander, Native Hawaiian, and Mixed-Race folx.

*Queer: members who self-identify as part of the gay, lesbian, bisexual, transgender, gender-nonconforming, intersex community
We will be using Zoom for this discussion.
