At the Intersection of LGBT+ Identity and Faith in a 2026 America
QueerKI and The Welcome Project present a panel conversation among faith leaders on Tuesday October 13, 7:00 to 8:30 PM.
The discussion focuses on how each leader approaches welcoming LGBT+ congregants, the pressures they face in the current political climate, and what moving forward actually looks like from the pulpit. Morgan Selkirk, chair of the Montgomery County Commission for LGBTQIA+ Affairs, moderates.
The event is free but registration is required, and the venue is shared with registrants only rather than published in advance. Register through the link in The Welcome Project’s Instagram bio. For questions, call 215-887-8700.
The organizers ask that you come with an open mind, ready to listen. If faith has been a complicated part of your life as an LGBT+ person, this is a room built for that conversation rather than around it.
