Brood Me, Daddy! An All Insecret Drag & Burlesque Tribute in Honor of 2024’s Double Brood Cicadas

The cicadas are cuming the cicadas are cuming!? That’s right, this spring & summer two different cicada broods are emerging at the SAME TIME in the SAME AREA of The Eastern US! An event like this only occurs once in every 200 some odd years!

In celebration of this rare phenomenon, Balena Canto brings you a nightlife show like no other! On Thursday May 30th, we honor our creepy crawly friends AND their mother nature-given right to have loud obnoxious bug sex wherever and whenever they want!

Brood Me Daddy is an an ALL INSECT/BUG, ARACHNID (spiders & scorpions), MYRIAPOD (centipedes & millipedes), and CRUSTACEAN (crabs, lobster, etc.) themed drag & burlesque EXTRAVAGANZA. While cicadas are the guest of honor, arthropod’s the word!

In addition to seeing your favorite Philly Nightlife Personalities transform into various invertebrates before your very eyes, we will play a themed game where you can win an amazing prize!
