Cena Mortem: A Dinner With Death

 

From the Latin words for “Dinner” and “Death”, Cena Mortem is a new dinner concept coming to Fabrika in Fishtown. Inspired by New York’s “Queen of the Night” party, a small team of creatives sought to produce a murder-themed burlesque dinner and show. With performance pieces titled “Demon Sluts,” “Red Waltz” and “Orgy” (yes, you read that correctly), the event promises to push the limits of sexuality and mortality.

Each ticket includes a 4-course, family-style dinner. Cena Mortem’s goal is to get attendees to literally break bread with one another, to socialize outside their respective circles as they once did pre-Covid. The fixed menu will also feature specialty cocktails created by Don Julio Tequila. After dinner, Fabrika transitions to an open after-party, with sounds from DJ Electric Honey, who is also DJing during the show.

Tickets are available in three tiers: Ultra VIP – a front row seat to the show with complimentary champagne ($1000 for 5 people); VIP lower level tickets with access to a cocktail hour as well as an intimate performance pre-show ($125), and GA upper-level tickets ($75).
