Did you know March is Colorectal Cancer Awareness Month? Join us for a program in partnership with Jefferson University Sidney Kimmel Cancer Center featuring researchers Dr. Adam Snook, PhD and Ms. Miao Cao in the Science and Wellness Department, Room 202 from 6:00 P.M. to 7:30 P.M. where they will discuss recent research followed by a conversation centered around cancer myth-busting and the science behind cancer vaccines.

The discussion will be led by Dr. Adam Snook, a faculty member whose lab studies next‑generation immunotherapies. We will also hear about related work of Maio Cao, an MD‑PhD student in Dr. Snook’s laboratory, who is helping advance this cutting‑edge area of cancer immunology. The discussion will break down how cancer vaccines work and what makes them a promising tool for future cancer care. We’ll also discuss current breakthroughs in the field and why they’re capturing national attention. Join us to learn, ask questions, and explore the innovations shaping the next generation of cancer treatment.
