Born Corinne Savage on January 24, 1995, in Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania, this powerhouse is a singer, songwriter, producer, and multi-instrumentalist. They grew up jamming to artists like Drake, Gwen Stefani, and Mac Miller. ????

Corook’s musical journey took off in middle school when their mom overheard them singing Sara Bareilles’ “Love Song” and encouraged them to audition for the school talent show. They later attended a performing arts high school, which they describe as being like the show “Victorious,” filled with music and creativity. ????

After high school, Corook honed their craft at Berklee College of Music, earning dual degrees in songwriting and contemporary writing and production in 2017. ????

In 2021, Corook burst onto the music scene with their unique blend of humor and heartfelt lyrics. Their debut EP, “achoo!,” dropped on April 1, 2022, under Atlantic Records. They’ve toured with artists like K.Flay, JP Saxe, and Jukebox the Ghost. ????

One of their standout moments came in April 2023 with the release of “If I Were a Fish,” a song co-written and performed with their partner, Olivia Barton. This track went viral on TikTok, amassing over 18 million views and sparking a wave of positivity online. ????

Corook identifies as queer and non-binary, using they/them pronouns. They’ve been open about their journey with gender identity and mental health, often using music as a medium to share their experiences and connect with others. ????️‍????
