Don’t Tell Your Brother – Queer Comedy
Philadelphia’s premier queer (reclaimed) comedy (derogatory) showcase, Don’t Tell Your Brother whispers “come” in that husky voice you like.
DTYB is a monthly comedy night featuring some of the best queer comedic talent from Philly, let loose just for you. Each performer has full creative freedom, so even we don’t know what to expect. Come alone, bring a date, pull a look or drink beer in grey sweatpants, just as long as you tip well.
I know, you’ve been saying “I wish there were a comedy night for inverts, sissies, studs, chapsticks, eunuchs, evening botanists, the hottest Mx. you know, lockerroom lingerers, dopplebangers, ‘bisexuals,’ speculative divorcees, genderbenders, gender euphorics, fruitcakes, “you absolutely cannot introduce me as your joyfriend are you joking,” Carol as portrayed by Cate Blanchett, people who know other movies Cate Blanchett was in and have strong opinions on them, and anyone who is light in the loafers, heavy in the docs, socks stay on (but only the socks), packing, or tucking.” Your wish is our command. In fact, I have to do anything you say for 24 hours lol jk…unless?
Straight People more than welcome. We can keep a secret, just don’t tell your brother.
