Step into a radiant world where queerness is sacred, vulnerability is powerful, and masculinity is reimagined. In the Soft Light brings together four groundbreaking LGBTQIA+ artists—Michael Biello, T.W. Moore, German Ayala Vazquez, and Robert Carter—who use photography and sculpture to challenge societal norms and explore the emotional and physical intimacy between men.

This bold and tender exhibition dives deep into queer identity, touching on themes of romance, resilience, eroticism, and resistance. Sculptor Michael Biello, inspired by both Italian design and gay love stories, creates dreamlike chandeliers that glow with erotic mythology. His life-partner and collaborator T.W. Moore contributes deeply personal photographic works shaped by the legacy of the AIDS epidemic, celebrating queer strength and sensuality.

Photographers Robert Carter and German Ayala Vazquez push back against Eurocentric and patriarchal narratives—amplifying Black and Afroqueer experiences, exploring softness as power, and reclaiming spaces of intimacy and beauty long denied to queer bodies.

At its core, In the Soft Light is a love letter to LGBTQ+ lives: unapologetic, luminous, and fiercely alive.
