Independence Squares Open House

Looking for an evening of fun and friendship? Join us for an introduction to square dancing. No partner, experience, special clothing, or dance skill required.
Independence Squares is offering our second open house of the summer on August 30. Come join us again or come for the first time! Our venue is the Lutheran Church of the Holy Communion in Philadelphia. Please use the entrance at 2111 Sansom Street.
If you like it, you’ll have the opportunity to join our beginner’s class beginning on September 13. We have classes every Tuesday night during the year from 7:00 – 9:30.
To keep all attendees as safe as possible, we have instituted strict safety protocols that you should read here.
Independence Squares, Philadelphia’s LGBTQ+ square dance club, welcomes all to our inclusive dance community.
