Kim Petras

Kim Petras is a German singer and songwriter based in Los Angeles. Between 2016 and 2020, Petras released music as an independent artist under her own imprint, BunHead Records, before signing with Republic Records in 2021 where she will release her upcoming second album

Part of the reason she has gained so much attention from the community is due to her transgender identity. Petras underwent gender confirmation surgery at the age of 16, making her one of the youngest people to undergo the process.
