New Strides Play Fest

Part developmental opportunity, part community event, New Strides showcases staged-readings of brand new one act plays by emerging queer playwrights in Philadelphia!

Three playwrights received a litany of creative prompts from The Strides Collective in early September and immediately began working on brand new plays. Upon completion, each playwright was paired with a director and a cast of local actors. After a brief rehearsal process, YOU get to be the first ever audience of these exciting one-act plays. 

All three-plays will be performed each night. Bring your friends for an evening of queer stories and community!
