Prismatic Arts Ensemble is excited to bring this experience to you at home with Night Dances, the first of a series of unique concerts designed to capture what we love about live music and adapt it to a digital, online setting– perfectly timed for a sensual Valentine’s weekend, the rebirth of the Lunar New Year and the subversive thrall of Carnevale.
Wear your most speakeasy-worthy (or sofa-worthy) attire, join us for cocktails first, where our expert mixologist will guide you step-by-step through creating your own gorgeous cocktail before the music begins.
Then lose yourself in the magic of two contemporary compositions celebrating women, romance, and all things lovely (and terrifying) about the night. Filmed and envisioned against a vintage film backdrop, the music will enfold you in a visual dreamscape you’ll never want to leave (and if our vampire heroine had her way, you never would). When you catch your breath as the music concludes, we’ll escort you backstage for a live, virtual Q & A with the artists and composers.
Turn down the lights. Set out your candles. Let us make your screen our stage. Whether your February love celebration features romance, partners, friends and family, or just yourself (let your imagination run wild – we’d never tell), this modern classical evening will create the perfect mood.

Marcelle McGuirk, soprano, and Mark Loria, piano, will perform Juliana Hall’s Night Dances and the world premiere (!) of Felix Jarrar’s Vampire Delights.
Tickets are $20/household.
Can’t make it the night of the show? A recording of the show available to ticket holders through 2/19/2021.
Ticket holders will receive recipes/shopping list for a curated cocktail and dessert (including non-alcoholic/vegan options), as well as a program guide in advance of the performance.
