PLHIV Panel: Lived Experiences of People Living with HIV
The PLHIV Panel centers the lived experiences of people living with HIV — addressing stigma, healthcare disparities, aging, and long-term survivorship within Philadelphia’s LGBTQ+ communities. Held inside Philadelphia City Hall as part of Philly Pride 365’s official 2026 Pride Month panel series.
Panelists include long-term survivors, healthcare providers, advocates, and organizers from Philadelphia’s storied HIV/AIDS response community. Philly was a national epicenter of ACT UP activism in the 1980s and remains home to some of the country’s leading PLHIV organizations — this panel honors that legacy while looking forward to the next decade of treatment, prevention, and policy.
