Because of this, the gayborhood has gained a reputation as being a co-opted novelty for drunk straight people, especially after hours, and the Philly LGBTQ community needs more places to exist, in peace: no drunk handsy bachelorettes or $20 cocktails.After a long year of quarantining and the long-overdue disbandment of Philly Pride Presents, Philly queers space to dance, let loose, and celebrate our robust and tenacious existences.Do check your ego at the door.There will be absolutely NO homophobia, transphobia, racism, sexism, misogyny, body shaming, fatphobia, profiling, or intolerance of any kind at this party or you will be escorted out and NOT allowed back.
