Carl Michaels:
Carl Michaels (founder of production duo Persons Of Interest) made his dad really mad and spent thousands of dollars on DJ equipment in his senior year of high school. He started playing records at house parties to learn how to mix, and he fell in love with the rave scene. From there, Carl started touring the country with a pack of weirdos, playing arenas and nightclubs. He’s been rocking Philly with bleepy funky Chicago-style house music for almost three decades. He’s queer as fuck and ready to make you even queerer.

Furtrap:
At an underwhelming 5’3″, fur trap is co-producer and resident DJ of Studio 5’4″, the one and only disco dedicated to pocket folk. He produces parties such as HENNY at All Night Skate and Bad Liza at Good Judy in his home turf of Brooklyn. The New York Times has described his sound as “buoyant.” Since his debut in 2021, fur trap has only received stellar reviews:

Urban Kowboi:
Urban Kowboi (fka dickgif) has been mixing for nearly half a decade, performing in Philly at various venues ranging from warehouse soirées to pool parties. His sets vary widely from house to techno to bonkers tracks to make you shake your derrière.

There will be absolutely NO -isms (racism, sexism, etc.), shaming (body, virtue signaling, etc.) or misogyny, unacceptable phobias (fatphobia, homophobia, transphobia, etc.) tolerated.
Profiling and intolerance of any will result in immediate expulsion and a permanent ban.
CONSENT Policy:
Polari and Warehouse on Watts are a party and a venue that values inclusivity for ALL people. However, Polari is a party designated for Queer-identifying people and will not be a ‘straight pride parade.’ There is a zero-tolerance policy for nonconsensual behavior of any kind including but not limited to harassment, touch, discrimination, etc. Always ASK for permission.
Permission > Forgiveness
Anything other than a CLEAR, VERBAL, affirmative, is a resounding ‘no.’
If you struggle with social cues, please obtain assurance with a second or third form of ‘yes’ for verification. If someone is making you uncomfortable or harassing you, please speak to a security guard, bartender, or the host(s). Everyone is free to use the restroom that best fits their gender identity or expression. However, the upstairs bathrooms at WOW are unfortunately limited to the gender binary extremes at the moment.
All downstairs restrooms in the venues are gender-neutral.
