Saucy Splash: a QTBIPOC Pool Play Party

The venue is a large home located in Newark, Delaware, featuring 3 full bathrooms, 5 bedrooms, a basketball court, fire pit, large pool, multiple spanking benches, and plenty of space to play! The estate is a 10 minute drive/uber from Newark Transit Hub, which you can take a train to from Philly. We’re organizing carpools and rides from Philly, and can try to connect you with folks from other cities, too.

The official pool party is 3pm-midnight, but a limited number of attendees can purchase a bed, a room, or space for a tent to stay the night. There’s also a free after party for folks spending the night and their guests!

Guests can arrive at any time before midnight in order to be checked in.

The link to the padlet, where you can post intros and see who all’s coming will be included in your confirmation email, as well as a link to the carpooling website.

There will be no tickets sold at the door.

 

If you purchase a private room, you’re welcome to let any number of people spend the night with you, bring air mattresses, or whatever they need to feel comfy in your room. However, they must purchase their own admission ticket to the pool party. Same with folks bringing a tent!

If you purchase a bed in a shared room, you must get approval from the person who purchased the other bed before inviting anyone to share the space with you.

We have a limited number of sliding scale pool party admission tickets for Black folks who need a more accessible price; email us at [email protected] for the code.

All +1s must have their own ticket, and must be 21+ & QTBIPOC.

Light refreshments and nonalcoholic drinks are included in the ticket cost. Platters and alcholic beverages will be available for purchase via venmo or cashapp. Feel free to bring your own food and drinks!

This is not a sober event, however, all attendees who chose to drink are expected to do so responsibly. Any disruptive inebriation will be addressed, and the attendee will be asked to leave.

The event will be held with clear guidelines and boundaries to ensure the safety and comfort of all attendees. A staff of Saucy Savants (volunteers) will be onsite to welcome attendees, support in negotiations, and maintain a culture of consent.

Feel free to bring pool toys, sex toys, impact tools, and anything else you’d like to play with!

COVID Policy: All guests must take a rapid test at home before coming to the event, and bring a picture of yourself holding up the negative test result with your face clearly visible in the picture. If you don’t have access to a test, we’ll have some available onsite for a pay-what-you-wish donation. A PCR taken within 72 hours of the event is also acceptable.

Refund Policy: Refunds are only given with proof of a positive COVID test or other emergency. If the weather is unsafe for swimming, the party will be canceled and all tickets will be refunded.
