Do you have questions about make up, application, or just having difficulty creating a show ready face? In this 2 hour lecture demonstration, Vinchelle will walk you through the necessary steps and best practices of make up application to put your best show ready face forward! You can watch and learn, or participate step by step, as Vinchelle guides you through prepping your skin, foundation/contouring how-to, and creation of a bold eye and lash application for a glamorous and clean finished look.

Students wanting to participate will need the items listed below. See this tutorial for context.

  • Beauty Blenders (2 large one small)
  • Primer (optional)
  • Setting powder
  • Foundation (liquid preferred)
  • Concealer (stick preferred)
  • Cream Shadow for contour (foundation that is three shades darker than original)
  • Makeup brushes (any and all they have)
  • Eye Shadow (VinChelle uses Juvias Place)
  • Brow Pencil
  • Other loose powder (Banana, Topaz, etc)
  • Blush (VinChelle uses Juvias place)
  • Mascara
  • False lashes and lash glue

All levels, bodies, and genders are welcome and encouraged to join!

This class is free for BIPOC (Black, Indigenous, and people of color). $25 for non-BIPOC.

VinChelle is the Tri State Tribal Queen on the scene!! Normally, she performs consistently 6 nights a week in Philadelphia, New York, New Jersey, Delaware, and Maryland. However, due to current events she has gone digital!! She was voted 2017 Philadelphia drag queen of the year as well as best hostess. While running Shea Butter Werk productions, she host and produces several shows in the tri-state area including “Black Girl Magic Philly” a show highlighting local black entertainers, voted Philadelphia’s best monthly show! Also the creator and host of “The Black Dairies”, a weekly digital talk show every Wednesday! Her main purpose in drag is to make sure you have a good time as well as use her platform to promote black excellence and spread her African culture!!!
