The Melon’s Cry (Philly Fringe)

The Melon’s Cry at Philadelphia Fringe Festival (Sept 10-13)

On the eve of September 11, 2001, the world is about to change. Inside the halls of an elite New York City private school, two best friends are navigating a profound awakening of their own. Reimagining Christina Rossetti’s Victorian masterpiece Goblin Market, The Melon’s Cry tracks Laura and Lizzie as they fall under a trance of insatiable sensory and intellectual discovery. Moving in parallel yet diverging, their personal journeys are about to collide with history.
