New York-based drag queen Tammy Faymous returns to Philadelphia and will bring her antics and energy to City Winery on April 15 for a night that promises to break any audience’s idea of what drag is or should be. Attempting to follow in the footsteps of cabaret legends who came before her, Tammy is breaking through the status quo that “RuPaul’s Drag Race” has created. Her wig is a mess. Her makeup is terrible. It’s all about the performance (hopefully). Featuring music from Patti Smith, Bonnie Raitt, Amy Winehouse, Billie Eilish and Miley Cyrus, this is not your baby’s drag queen story hour.
