THRIVERS: Let’s Talk About Vaccines
THRIVERS is a monthly discussion group for people impacted by HIV that relies on the personal expertise within our communities to help one another get the most out of life and to take advantage of the opportunities before us.
This month, we’ll be talking about the COVID-19 vaccine as well as other vaccinations for older adults. The COVID-19 vaccine has started to become available for those who are eligible though people may have questions about how the vaccine works and any risks associated with it. If you’re nervous or unsure about getting this vaccination, come get your questions answered by a medical provider. If you’ve already gotten your COVID-19 vaccine, we’d love to hear about your experience.
