William Way Community Center presents Philly Pride Run
The Philly Pride Run is an annual fundraising event that celebrates love, equality, and community pride. Co-created by William Way LGBT Community Center and Lez Run, the event brings together people of all ages and backgrounds to participate in a fun and festive day of running and walking. Proceeds from the event support programs and initiatives at the William Way LGBT Community Center.
Philly Pride Run is back for its 8th year of loud and proud running through the streets of Philadelphia and beyond.
All runners and local running groups are invited to celebrate Pride with the LGBTQ+ communities by doing what we do best: running and bringing our communities closer!
The William Way LGBT Community Center, in collaboration with Lez Run Running Club, and Out Philadelphia Athletic League, are excited to continue the tradition of celebrating Pride Month with a festive run in the city of Philadelphia.
The Philly Pride Run will take place at the Philadelphia Navy Yard 5K course located at Broad Street and Intrepid Ave, Philadelphia, PA 19112.
The 5K race will be a chip timed event with prizes for the top 3 Women, Non-Binary and Men’s divisions. The 5K will also have prizes for top 3 Women, Non-Binary and Men’s wheelchair divisions.
The 1 Mile Fun Run/Walk will be a non-timed event with prizes for the top 3 most festive participants.
A virtual option is also available for those not able to make the in-person event.
Your support of this event is crucial to our community, we thank you in advance! In addition to your registration to participate, we would very much appreciate your help to create a personal fundraising campaign in conjunction with the Philly Pride Run. You can either encourage your circle of friends and family members to make a direct donation to the William Way at waygay.org or you can create a fundraising event on Facebook.
The William Way LGBT Community Center is a 501-c-3 non-profit that operates its programs 365 days a year, at its location in Center City Philadelphia at 1315 Spruce Street.

1. $25 will help us continue to provide healthy and nutritious food to seniors
2. $50 Provides us with technology access so we can build online community groups
Early Registration opens March 8, 2024 at 12noon.
In-person event-
Pricing for the 5K Race- Includes T-shirt (unisex shirts, run a bit large. Must pick up shirt and bib in person. No mailing option)
Early registration- March 8 through March 31- $50
Regular registration- April 1 through May 27- $55
Late Registration- May 28 through May 31- $65
Registration will close June 1. There will NOT be race day registration.
May 6 is the last day to register and get a shirt. You wont be able to order a shirt after that date!
1 Mile Fun Run- In-person event- Must pick up bib in person. No shipping.
Pricing for the 1 Mile Fun Run -NO T-SHIRT
Early registration- March 8 through March 31- $15
Regular registration- April 1 through May 27- $20
Late Registration- May 28 through May 31- $25.
Registration will close June 1. There will NOT be race day registration.
Virtual Event-
Registration- March 8 through May 31- $55 (includes shirt and shipping cost)
Runners have from June 8-June 16 to complete the virtual run.
In addition, the first 50 runners who register will receive a Pride themed gift.
Bib and race packet items will be held at the William Way LGBT Community Center on the following days:
Thursday, June 6, 2:00- 8:00pm
Friday, June 7, 2:00-8:00pm
There will NOT be race day bib pick up. Please plan accordingly.
