Philadelphia Liberty Tennis Association

Founded in January 2008, the Philadelphia Liberty Tennis Association is an affiliate of the national Gay & Lesbian Tennis Alliance and Team Philadelphia.

PLTA’s mission is to promote tennis among the GLBT community and its supporters in Philadelphia and the Delaware Valley. We also promote camaraderie and community spirit through social functions and events.
Philadelphia Opera Enthusiasts

We are a group of gay men who are opera lovers and meet on the last Saturday of each month to share recordings that relate to a specific topic chosen for that month. Contacts made during such meetings have led to shared trips to various opera houses throughout this country and Canada, dinners, social events, and lasting friendships. Ever mindful of our responsibility to provide a necessary forum and nurturing environment for the fresh creative voices that will keep American theater vital, we have introduced countless award-winning premieres to audiences in Philadelphia and beyond. Rather than revisit old standards, we are committed to finding the classics of the future.

Through readings, workshops, and commissions, Philadelphia Theatre Company continues to define the changing landscape of American theater where audiences can experience premiere plays and playwrights.

Who are we?
We are doctors, lawyers, executives, architects, teachers, students, actors, singers, writers, artists and everyday ordinary people. We are also extraordinary people. We are your brothers and sisters, your friends, cousins, parents. We are Philadelphia's first Lesbian Gay Bisexual Transgender (LGBT) chorus - uniting to make music that transcends preconception.

Our Mission
The Philadelphia Voices of Pride is a self affirming Lesbian Gay Bisexual Transgender (LGBT) vocal ensemble devoted to enhancing the musical, educational and cultural life in the Philadelphia area. We consider ourselves as ambassadors, promoting a positive image of the LGBT community by donating our time, talents and financial resources to benefit LGBT, HIV and Women’s organizations.

Philadelphians MC

General Meetings are held at 8 PM on the first and third Mondays of every month, except where noted, in the Pit Stop at the Bike Stop (206 S. Quince Street in Philadelphia). All are welcome during Open Session which lasts about half an hour. After a short break members reconvene for Closed Session which normally lasts an hour. Afterwards many members hang out for Jock Strap Night which begins at 10pm on the first floor of the bar.
Philly AIDS THrift

Philly AIDS Thrift is a non profit thrift store. Our mission is to sell our lovely donated items and distribute the proceeds to local HIV/AIDS service organizations.
Philly Cubs

Philly Cubs is a social organization for 18 - 25 year old bears, cubs, chubs, admirers and friends. It provides a comfortable setting for those who may not feel a part of the gay, lesbian, bisexual or transgender communities. The group is a place for young people to hang out who are unable to attend the bars, and thus the bear clubs. Finally, having members over 21 allows for an easier transition into the community as people age having friends and community established in the bar scene.

Philly Lambda PSU

This group helps the LGBTA Alumni of Penn State University in the Philadelphia region (including surrounding counties in PA and South NJ) keep in touch. This is a great mechanism to list events, carpools to PSU, and just to keep in touch with old friends. WE ARE...PENN STATE!
Philly Leather

Yahoo group created to help increase dialogs among the Greater Philadelphia area leather, kink and fetish communities, and to promote events of interest in the Greater Philadelphia area. Includes links to the area's social, educational and play groups for women and men (LGBTQ and pan)conduct polls to determine what kind of events and programs will best serve the community.
Philly Pride Presents

PHILLY PRIDE PRESENTS, Inc. is a group of volunteer coordinators under the leadership of an Executive Director and Senior Advisor which organizes "PrideDay" in June, "OutFest" in October and "WinterPride" in late winter. PHILLY PRIDE PRESENTS is proud to be co-sponsors of the Phila. DYKE March and the Alternative Prom. The purpose of our pride events is the advancement of LGBT rights through the visibility and awareness that our parades and festivals create. In addition to celebrating our uniqueness, our events help thousands discover the breadth of the LGBT community in the Delaware Valley, provide avenues for education, growth and self-realization, and increase the visibility and diversity of the LGBT community.

Philly Suburban Pride

The mission of our organization is to build a strong sense of community among people of diverse sexual orientation through creating social, educational and supportive programming to promote the mental, emotional and physical well being of the GLBT community.

We are a group of everyday, caring individuals, most of whom live in the suburbs. We like to bring people together by organizing fun social events and activities and spaces to be who we are.
Philly TNG

Philly TNG (The Next Generation) is a group for individuals, aged 18-35 in the Philadelphia Metro Area who are interested in learning more about Leather, BDSM, and other alternative lifestyles. We are open to all sexual orientations and gender identities. Our mission is to provide a safe and welcoming environment for the younger members of the community through various social and educational events.

Phlash, Philadelphia's LGBTQ rock climbing community, serves to connect gay, lesbian, and queer climbers and our allies in the greater Philadelphia area.

We hold regular meetup events for climbers of all skill levels at Go Vertical in Philadelphia.

For novice climbers, check out one of our Intro to Climbing events, normally held every other month on a Sunday afternoon. For seasoned climbers, come out for any of our Thursday Night Meetups, held every other week at Go Vertical and monthly at Philadelphia Rock Gyms - East Falls.
Phury: Gay Hockey League

In addition to playing in an organized adult hockey league at one of the area rinks, the Phury intends to travel to annual hockey tournaments in New York, Denver, Toronto and Montreal in addition to representing the Philly at the upcoming Gay Games. The Phury is currently seeking all skill levels; preferably those who have at least attended hockey preparation classes. Total beginners seeking prep class information can contact the Phury to be directed to a local program near them. Gay-friendly straight skaters are also encouraged to join the team.
Pink & Blues
Type: Health
Peer-run discussion and recovery support group for LGBT individuals dealing with mental health issues. Meets every Wednesday at 7:00pm at The Church of St. Luke and the Epiphany, 330 S. 13th St. in the Blue Room. Member of PA Mental Health Consumers' Assoc. and Depression & Bipolar Support Alliance
