Hey queens! It’s a new year, and that means it’s time to shake off the old and make room for the new. If you’re like me, you’re probably thinking about setting some fabulous goals for yourself in the year ahead. But let’s be real, resolutions can be tough to stick to. That’s why I’ve come up with a few sassy and funny suggestions for New Year’s resolutions that are perfect for you!

I will slay my workouts and take care of this fabulous body of mine.

Self-care is crucial for feeling and looking our best, honey. Whether it’s hitting the gym, eating healthy, or just taking some time to relax, make sure you’re putting yourself first in the year ahead. And don’t forget, a little self-care can go a long way in boosting your confidence and helping you feel fabulous. Exercise is a great way to take care of your body and mind, so consider making it a regular part of your routine. Not a fan of the gym? No problem! There are plenty of other ways to get your heart rate up, from dancing to hiking to yoga. The key is to find something you enjoy and make it a habit.

I will make time for my tribe and nurture my relationships.

No one can do it alone, and having a solid support system is key to living your best life. Whether it’s friends, family, or a romantic partner, make an effort to connect with the people you love and strengthen those bonds. And don’t be afraid to reach out to loved ones more often, plan regular catch-ups, or try new things together. The more time you spend with the people you love, the happier and more fulfilled you’ll feel. It’s easy to get caught up in the hustle and bustle of everyday life, but it’s important to make time for the people who matter most to you. So don’t let busy schedules or long distance get in the way of your relationships – make an effort to stay connected and you’ll be glad you did.

I will use my voice and platform to advocate for LGBTQ+ rights.

advocate for LGBTQ+ rights

As members of the community, it’s our duty to speak out and fight for equal rights and representation. Whether it’s volunteering with organizations that support LGBTQ+ causes or simply educating those around us, let’s make a difference in the world. We have the power to create change and make the world a better, more inclusive place for all members of the LGBTQ+ community. And it doesn’t have to be a big, grand gesture – sometimes the smallest actions can make the biggest impact. So don’t be afraid to use your voice and speak out on issues that matter to you. Whether it’s on social media, at work, or in your personal life, your words have the power to inspire and make a difference.

I will embrace new challenges and step outside my comfort zone.

Life is all about trying new things and stepping outside your comfort zone. This year, make a goal to try something new and exciting – you never know what amazing opportunities might come your way. Whether it’s a new job, a new hobby, or a new goal, push yourself to try something that feels a little scary or intimidating. It might be uncomfortable at first, but the sense of accomplishment you’ll feel when you achieve your goal will be worth it. And who knows, you might just discover a new passion or talent you never knew you had. So don’t be afraid to take a chance and try something new – the worst that can happen is that you learn something new about yourself.

I will be more mindful and present in my daily life.

Mindfulness is all about bringing your attention to the present moment and living in the here and now. It can help reduce stress and increase happiness, so consider incorporating some mindfulness practices into your daily routine. This could be as simple as taking a few minutes each day to focus on your breath, or setting aside time for daily meditation or journaling. The more present you are in your life, the more you’ll be able to appreciate the little things and find joy in the here and now.

Remember, resolutions aren’t about being perfect. They’re about making progress and being the best version of yourself. So let’s make this year our best yet, queens! Don’t be afraid to set big goals for yourself and don’t be too hard on yourself if you don’t achieve everything you set out to do. The most important thing is to be kind to yourself and remember that it’s okay to make mistakes. Focus on progress, not perfection, and you’ll be well on your way to a happy and fulfilling year.
