JACOB MEEHAN has emerged as a torchbearer of the gay groove, deeply rooted in the storied
heritage of Chicago. Having come of age on the dance floors of Derrick Carter, Frankie
Knuckles, and Michael Serafini, Jacob internalised the lessons of his forefathers. At his core is
a musicality that reverberates with the resilience and vitality of the human spirit. His DJ style is
an eclectic blend of machine and soul that transcends and captivates. With playful
experimentation and innovative flair, Jacob seamlessly weaves together elements of house,
techno, disco, and ambient (as captured in this RA Mix Of The Day). From quirky melodies to
percussive rhythms, his sets exude warmth, depth and a sense of euphoria, inviting everyone
to join in the celebration of life and love through the power of rhythm. Now based in Berlin, he’s one of the driving forces behind two major events much beloved by the queer community: Buttons and WHOLE Festival.

What is CURFEW?

A rave for the qts. Styled in the ethos of 90s club kid culture, curfew is about embracing queer expression, gender chaos, energetic dance floors and freedom.

Expect house, techno and genrefluid sets from local and guest djs, as well as pop up stunts from drag/performing artists.
