Join us on Friday, April 19th at 6pm for a screening of Kokomo City, a documentary film that follows the lives of four black transgender sex workers who unapologetically break down the walls of their profession.
A panel discussion will follow the screening moderated by artist and scholar troizel xx, featuring performer, organizer, and activist Ceyenne Doroshow of G.L.I.T.S., organizer Erin Busbee, and representative Ava Kane from Project SAFE and Philly Red Umbrella Alliance. This event will additionally feature a table and installation from Project Safe.
Event is brought to you by Hot Bits Film Fest in partnership with The Galleries at Moore.
Venue is ADA compliant and wheelchair accessible. All gender bathrooms are just outside the auditorium.
