Philadelphia’s beloved themed dance party collective Riot Nerd is celebrating 10 years of packed dance floors, niche fandoms, and queer-forward nightlife with a massive 10-Year Anniversary Party on Thursday, February 20, from 9pm–2am at Underground Arts.

The night features two parties, two rooms, one ticket:

• Main Room: A decade-spanning dance party soundtracking Riot Nerd’s run from 2016 to today, with hits, bangers, and dance floor staples spun by DJ Adub.
• The Black Box: Riot Nerd’s annual Twin Peaks Party, an immersive ’80s New Wave experience with DJ George Purkins, plus a special guest set by DJ Riot Meg, Riot Nerd’s founder and creator.

To mark the milestone, attendees can expect:

• Free Riot Nerd merch (t-shirts, hats, koozies, buttons & more while supplies last)
• A photo booth open for part of the night
• A party photographer capturing the full anniversary chaos
• The high-energy dance floor Riot Nerd has become known for over the last decade

Over the past decade, Riot Nerd has focused on creating distinct, community-driven experiences within Philly nightlife, centering fandoms, inclusivity, and giving back… donating tens of thousands of dollars to local and national charities through its events. Riot Nerd throws parties celebrating a wide spectrum of fandoms and pop culture moments, from goth nights to Taylor Swift, K-pop to Beyoncé, and cult favorites like Heated Rivalry and Twin Peaks. In recognition of its impact, Riot Nerd was named Best Dance Party in Philadelphia in 2023 by Philadelphia Magazine.
