A monthly book club for LGBTQ+ folx and allies. Category is non-fiction with themes of personal growth + development, mental + holistic health, sobriety + recovery, and empowerment. October’s selection is ‘Lighter’ by Yung Pueblo. 

Bring an engaged mind, the book if you like and/or notes with your takeaways, questions, personal reflections, etc you may want to share with the group. Some chairs available but a floor cushion if you need and water or coffee/tea is permitted but do not bring any food.

This historic space is not ADA-compliant and we meet on the second floor. We must end at 7:30 and you can order the book directly and support Giovanni’s Room with a 10% discount. Contact ljohnston@thephoenix.org if purchasing the book is a barrier.
