I thought it was going to be just another lazy Sunday, lounging around Cafe 12 drinking a gingerbread latte and catching up on work, but then my calendar pinged and I was reminded that I had signed up for an adventure, not just an adventure, a Qventure.

The "Qventure" I was taking part in was Glass Blowing! I couldn't have been more excited, learning to blow… glass… has been on my bucket list for over 24 years now, so when 2pm rolled around I hopped in my car and went to East Falls Glassworks in NorthWest Philly.

After a quick demo, me and 19 other people were on our way to crafting our own ornament! I chose blue and white to match my apartments decor and got to work. Glass is not as temperamental as you might think, which made the class stress-free and easy! So, my ornament has an unexplained nipple, it happens, I'll love it either way.
