So rumors have been spreading over social media that iCandy Nightclub (254 S. 12th St) is closed. A sign was posted to their window from the City of Philadelphia License and Inspection. Many assumed this meant that iCandy was closed, similarly to the way Gay Pizza closed. However, this is merely a notice that they have until July 20 to make corrections.

iCandy Manager Jeff Sheehan told PhillyGayCalendar that they expect the issues to be resolved before the July 20th deadline.

It looks from the L&I Case, that there was an expired license, so it will be a quick fix.

And in the mean time, iCandy will be opened and operating as normal.
