The Bucks were Bangin’

Executive Director of PhillyGayCalendar

I used to have to mark my calander and count down the days until my two favorite weeks of the year rolled around. Fringe fufilled my need for the avant garde, kooky, and weird, but after taking in the Bucks last night, It seems like I'll be able to get that thirst quenched year round.

The Bucks started the evening with a choreographed, group number. Tommy Schimmel, Teddy Fatscher, Miles Yeung, Jonathon Melendez, and Abe Acay took to the stage with grace and percision and quickly capitaivated a cheering audience. While the group numbers were fun, the solo or smaller group numbers were the acts that solidified my love for these gentleman. It didn't hurt that they were shirtless half the time, but what made them hotter was the talent they intertwined with looks. DJ Chris Urban showcased his dedication to the show when the host for the evening, the sexy and seductive Christa D’Agger, made a spontaneous joke about an obsucre 90's pop song, and within seconds her story was backed by the undertones of the song in discussion.

Huge props to Nicole and Dave for continuing to produce fresh shows for us, Philadelphian's to take in! I can't wait for the next installment of the bucks!
