DVLF Board Welcomes Karl Michelfelder & Michael Grosberg returns as President-elect

Executive Director of PhillyGayCalendar

Michael Grosberg (former treasurer) re-joins the Board to serve as President alongside Karl Michelfelder, longtime DVLF (Delaware Valley Legacy Fund) event contributor.

Michael Grosberg’s engagement with DVLF spans more than a decade. He brings extensive experience in analytics and strategic business performance management, previously working with Deloitte & Touche LLP and now with Model N, a revenue management software vendor for life sciences and high-tech manufacturers, as Director of Product Management. In his previous term with DVLF, Michael spent 8 years as Treasurer and led key initiatives to modernize DVLF’s operations. In rejoining, he is looking forward to driving towards the organization’s strategic goals and building a $5M endowment by 2025. Michael and his husband are recently married and split time between Fort Lauderdale, FL, and Philadelphia.

Karl Michelfelder also joins DVLF’s board after a decade-long relationship with the organization and service in Philadelphia’s LGBTQ+ community. Karl grew up nearby in Bucks County and moved to Center City after enrolling in Temple University. Since his time as a student, Karl has entertained diverse crowds across the U.S. and Mexico as a DJ for events and nightclubs. When not entertaining, he works in marketing with partners from healthcare to online dating industries. His DJ work brought him to DVLF, routinely entertaining the crowd at DVLF’s annual fundraiser named TOY. Eventually, the relationship grew to volunteerism and service on event committees. Now, Karl is excited to join the DVLF Board, describing the group as “dynamic” and deeply caring.
