That’s right! Registration is opened  for Bowling, Billiards, Yoga, and Stonewall In Motion (formerly Stonewall Running Group).

This fall, they will be launching Stonewall In Motion (formerly known as Stonewall Running Group). While the main focus of this group has been running, we hope this rebrand will reiterate that we welcome all fitness levels and abilities. We encourage folks to be in motion however they choose along our planned routes (walking, rolling, running, etc). Our main focus is to build community with one another while on the move! We will still be meeting on Saturdays at 9 am with a planned 3-mile route, as well as have the option to do more or less. Folks can group off based on activity, pace, or mileage to tackle the route. Optional post-activity coffee will continue! See you there, Stonewall Philly!

**Note: During registration, all players must attest to being fully vaccinated by the first day of the season. Indoor venues currently require proof of vaccination for entry. Lucky Strike currently requires masks to be worn inside. All guidelines are subject to change. 
 
  • Bowling
    • Registration Details: Opens 9/6 at 7pm and closes on 9/17
    • Cost: $55 (includes 7 weeks of play and a team shirt – league winners chose the Philly LGBTQIA+ non-profit registration proceeds go to)
    • When: Tuesdays or Wednesdays (choose one) 10/5 – 11/17
    • Where: Lucky Strike Lanes – 1336 Chestnut Street
    • Team Size: Teams of 5-6 players, max of 24 teams per night
 
  • Billiards
    • Registration Details: Opens 9/6 and closes 9/17
    • Cost: $35 (includes 7 weeks of play and a team shirt – league winners chose the Philly LGBTQIA+ non-profit registration proceeds go to)
    • When: Thursdays 10/7 – 11/18
    • Where: Marconi Plaza
    • Team Size: All Stonewallers are welcome of any skill level
 
  • Stonewall in Motion (formerly Stonewall Running Group)
    • Registration Details: Opens 9/6 – rolling though the season
    • Cost: $5
    • When: Saturdays at 9am, 9/18 – 11/20
    • Where: Starting locations vary week-to-week. There will be a planned 3 mile route, as well as the option to do more or less.
    • Team Size: All Stonewallers are welcome and can group up based on activity, pace, or mileage to tackle the route. Post-route coffee gatherings have become tradition!
 
  • Yoga
    • Registration Details: Opens 9/6. Season registration closes on 9/17, but single date registrations will be available each week.
    • Cost: $40 for the season, or $10 per week for single registrations
    • When: Saturdays at 9am, 9/18 – 11/20
    • Where: Marconi Plaza
    • Team Size: All Stonewallers are welcome of any skill level

Philadelphia COVID-19 Update

The spread of the Covid-19 Delta variant and a number of breakthrough cases amongst vaccinated individuals is a reminder that though we have resumed normal leagues and play, COVID-19 is certainly not over!

Given some recent spikes and changing local and national guidance, we wanted to provide a few quick reminders and updates regarding Stonewall Policies & Precautions.

Stonewall Policies & Precautions

To increase player access to join the league for individuals experiencing financial and economic stress, we are introducing a Fee Waiver/Assistance program. Consideration and eligibility will be reviewed on a case-by-case basis, and eligibility determination will be sent via email within three business days.

Applicants can apply for a 50% or 100% discount (including processing fees) of registration for a league. All provided information is confidential and only reviewed by select Stonewall Sports Philadelphia Board members.

Please note: Applicants should only be registering for 1 activity per season to have eligibility remain in good standing, and the maximum number of approved assistance per calendar year is two. Any abuse of this program will result in the cancelling of approved credits up to expulsion from the league.
