Gunnar Montana Clocks In at the Body Shop

Darlings, Gunnar Montana has gone and gotten himself a day job.

Sort of. Philly’s own fabricator, dancer and professional menace has a new video out for Nasty Pig’s Body Shop and Forge collection, shot by Shea Durant and scored by Slayyyter. There’s a behind-the-scenes clip with it. I watched both. Twice. For research.

He Really Does Work on the Car

That is what gets me. The first twelve seconds are a man doing his job.

Back to the camera, tee reading GRADE A BODY SHOP, FULL SERVICE across the shoulders. He pops the hood of a black GMC, reaches into the engine bay, wipes his hands on a rag. Neon rigged against the garage door in pink and green and amber. Shot like a truck commercial and played completely straight.

Then he starts dancing in his work boots, and you realize nobody here is fixing anything.

The Clothes Come Off in Order

Tee over the head. Work pants down and knotted at the waist. Gold Nasty Pig jockstrap over black fishnets. Then, because the man has no interest in your comfort, the boots come off and the cow-print stilettos go on.

I want to be clear that he does the rest of the video in those heels. On a truck. Wet. I have watched grown men fall off a curb in sneakers.

Shea Durant Deserves a Raise

The soap section is where it gets good. Gunnar is up on the hood buried in suds, arms over his head, dragging foam down the windshield, and for a stretch of it the camera is on the other side of that glass. You are watching him through the mess he is making.

Whoever put the lens there understood the assignment better than most people who get paid to shoot this stuff.

Then the hose comes out, the water goes up in slow motion, and we all quietly stop pretending this is about a truck.

It ends still. He is dressed again, standing on a wet floor with the neon running through the puddles. No wink at the camera. Mother simply clocked out.

About That Song

The track is “I’M ACTUALLY KINDA FAMOUS” from Slayyyter’s WOR$T GIRL IN AMERICA. Barely two and a half minutes, written with nicopop. and produced by him.

Here is my favorite part. Slayyyter has said the song plays like a grimy bathroom scene in a movie, and that she was hoping somebody would put it to picture. Somebody did. He was in a jockstrap and heels on the hood of a pickup.

Watch the Rehearsal

The behind-the-scenes clip is fifteen seconds of a phone pointed at a playback monitor leaned up against the siding. Same dance, tee still on, no color grade, no neon. Just the take.

Watch it right after the finished video. Every bit of what got you was already in his body before anybody turned a light on. The crew just showed up and agreed with him.

Go See Him in Person

He built this out of a warehouse shop in South Philly where he makes his own sets by hand. He has been with Nasty Pig since 2024, and he is thirteen-plus years into a career of making things nobody else would think to make.

Watch the video twice, like I did. Then go see him live when the next show opens, because a phone screen does not do the man justice.
