Applications open for the Philly Fictionists, a trans writing retreat

Trans Philly-area fiction writers! Get paid $100 to write, eat, and hang out with peers, courtesy of Collective Lit and the Leeway Foundation.

10-12 participants will gather in-person on January 10, 2026, from 9:00am to 7:30pm in West Philadelphia. After the retreat, all will be invited to contribute to a zine-style anthology, which will be distributed freely online and submitted to local archives. Participants will also be invited to stay in touch with the cohort via Discord.
