City of Philadelphia Annual Pride Flag Raising

Kick off Pride Weekend and Philly Pride 2026 with the official City of Philadelphia Annual Pride Flag Raising at Philadelphia City Hall. Hosted by the City of Philadelphia’s Office of LGBTQ+ Affairs, this year’s theme is “Raising Our Pride, Honoring Our Legacy, Building Our Future.”

Join Mayor Cherelle Parker, Councilmember Rue Landau, Director of LGBTQ+ Affairs Tito Valdes, and community leaders along City Hall’s North Apron — near where Broad Street and John F. Kennedy Boulevard meet — to honor the Philadelphians who have historically fought for LGBTQ+ rights while looking toward a more equitable future. The Pride Progress Flag will fly over City Hall throughout Pride Weekend.

Free to attend, no registration required. An inclusive lunch-hour break that ties together the city government with Philadelphia’s vibrant LGBTQ+ community as the weekend gets underway.
