Celebrate Pride with Opera and Jazz

This June, immerse yourself in a vibrant cultural experience at Dilworth Park! Join us for the East Passyunk Opera Project as they present an unforgettable evening of opera and jazz during the Philly Pride Arts Festival. This highly anticipated event marks the 5th year of their performance series at Arts on Center Stage. The performance is free and open to everyone, making it an ideal outing for families, friends, and members of the LGBTQ+ community alike.

Meet the Incredible Performers

Prepare to be enchanted by the incredible Teddy Balfour-Austin, a talented tenor whose renowned performances include prestigious venues like The Metropolitan Opera and the Apollo Theater. Teaming up with him is the dynamic Nia Drummond, a soprano and jazz artist whose career has taken her across the globe, captivating audiences from the Apollo Theater to the Kennedy Center. Completing this trio is the masterful pianist Aurelien Eulert, whose extensive experience working with acclaimed artists promises a memorable experience.

A Night to Remember

Bring your own blanket or chair and settle in for a magnificent evening filled with art and community spirit. Seating is limited, so arrive early to claim your spot on the lush Greenfield Lawn. The atmosphere is set to be warm and inviting as we celebrate diversity and creativity in the heart of Philadelphia.

Don’t miss out on this chance to experience world-class performances in a beautiful outdoor setting—mark your calendars and come join the celebration!
