Gay Bingo Documentary Film Screening

Action Wellness is hosting a special 25th Anniversary screening of the “Gay Bingo” documentary that originally aired on WHYY in 2001. The film takes viewers behind the scenes of the wild antics and heartfelt activism that built this Philly institution.

Whether you’re intimately familiar with GayBINGO! and the BVD’s (Bingo Verifying Divas) or you’re still waiting to have your cherry popped, you’re invited to come celebrate 30 seasons of tradition and impact! After the screening, the event will conclude with a special panel discussion featuring the documentary’s producer Glenn Holsten, Michael Byrne – “twin brother” of long-time “hostess with the most-ess” Carlota Ttendant! 🎤💅

A portion of proceeds from ticket sales will benefit Action Wellness and their mission to provide services to those living with or at high-risk of acquiring HIV.
