30th Birthday GayBINGO!
GayBINGO! hits a major milestone: 30 years. We’re taking it back to 1996 to celebrate three decades of the fabulous, irreverent, campy, wildly popular monthly drag-bingo phenomenon that has been entertaining Philadelphia audiences since the Clinton era.
Join the infamous Bingo Verifying Divas (BVDs), Carlota Ttendant, and Stella D’Oro for a night of good old-fashioned bingo with a decidedly different twist — complete with ridiculous musical numbers, hilarious drag antics, and chances to win fabulous prizes.
This is also a Back to School Drive — bring school supplies to donate.
Event Schedule
- 6:00 PM — Doors open
- 7:00 PM — BINGO begins with an over-the-top performance by the BVDs, followed by the grand entrance of Carlota Ttendant and Stella D’Oro

Can I sit with friends if we buy tickets separately? Yes — put the same Group Name on all tickets at checkout and you’ll be seated together.
Food & drink? Concessions stand sells snacks and nonalcoholic drinks. You can also bring your own food and nonalcoholic beverages.
Parking? Free onsite parking is available.
Dress code? Dress in theme and decorate your table (no glitter, confetti, or helium balloons).

Started by AIDS Fund Philly in 1996 and adopted by Action Wellness in January 2025, GayBINGO! has raised millions of dollars over 30 years to support people living with and at risk for HIV/AIDS. This is the fourth-to-last show hosted by Michael Byrne’s Carlota Ttendant, who is retiring the character at the June 13, 2026 Rainbow Bombshell finale after three decades.
