If I Die Before the Revolution

If I Die Before the Revolution is an evening length dance theater eulogy for queers at the end of the world. This work explores memories, dreams, nightmares of queer experiences, with the backdrop of a crumbling, dying world acting as the endless demonization of LGBT+ people. As a last cry for hope, 6 dancers cope through rigorous socially driven movement activations, evocative meetings and departures, the ephemerality of joy, internalization and guttural losses.
