Join the fight for visibility at the Philadelphia Trans March. This grassroots gathering falls during LGBT+ History Month, on the Saturday of OURfest weekend, and it is equal parts protest and remembrance. We meet on the north side of City Hall to mourn the community members we have lost and to honor the people who paved the way for the rest of us.

Dressing in dark clothing, we will walk through the city with intention, pausing to reflect and raise our voices. This is not just a parade; it’s a direct action protest demanding better from our city: a commitment to investing in trans people and trans-led initiatives, increased access to affirming healthcare, and real economic opportunities for the trans community.

Completely independent from corporate sponsorship and governmental bodies, this non-permitted march stands as a rallying cry against the forces trying to erase our existence. Everyone is welcome to join—whether you identify as trans, non-binary, or simply an ally, your presence is vital. Bring your signs, your voice, and your spirit as we move in solidarity, honoring our past while demanding a brighter future.

Let’s make our voices heard and show up for each other. Every step we take together is a reminder of the strength of our community and our commitment to continuing the fight for justice and visibility. Step out, hold space, and make a difference.
